Myindici is a patient portal which is similar to online banking. A patient portal provides you with secure access to view your own medical record and notes that is fully secure.​ 

Myindici requires distinct accounts: Every individual over the age of 16 must have their own unique email address and portal credentials. Parents or legal guardians can link children under 16 to their accounts, but this access is removed once the child turns 16 to maintain individual patient privacy.​

Access requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)MFA. When logging in on a new device, a one-time code is sent via SMS or email to verify the user's identity.

Geographical Restrictions: In compliance with New Zealand health information security standards, access to the portal is restricted geographically, meaning users typically can only access the platform from within New Zealand or Australia.
