About Us.

We are an urban practice servicing the population of Mt Wellington and its surrounding suburbs. We aim to provide the highest quality and affordable healthcare in an environment where people feel comfortable, valued and respected.

  • We belong to Procare Network Auckland Primary Health Organisation.

  • We are a Cornerstone Accredited practice.

  • We prefer to see patients by appointment but are able to see patients urgently if needed.

  • Our team has 6 Doctors, 5 Nurses and 4 support staff. 

Meet the Doctors.

MBChB, Diploma of Obstetrics, Diploma of Child Health, Diploma of Occupational Medicine, Fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners.

Dr Jim Kriechbaum

Jim trained at Auckland Medical School graduating in 1985. He then worked in Paediatrics and Obstetrics both in N.Z. and then UK. On returning to NZ, he completed the GP Training Programme and has been in General Practice since 1990, establishing this practice in 1993. He really enjoys working alongside patients and helping them with a wide variety of health needs. He is passionate about providing quality healthcare in the community and is always striving to improve the service the practice offers to our patients. "It is a privilege to be involved with families over a long period and frequently over a number of generations".

Dr Martin Ng

Martin was born in Malaysia, trained at Auckland Medical School and graduated in 1996. He then worked at various hospitals in Auckland for 3 years. Following that, he completed the GP Registrar programme over a year and has been in General Practice since. Martin joined the practice in 2001.

Dr Soshamma George

Soshamma graduated from CMC Vellore in India and then specialised in Dermatology with with a Diploma and an MD from Madras University. She spent 2 years in the UK as a Dermatology registrar working at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. She worked as a clinician and teacher in a medical college & hospital and had 27 published papers until she moved to NZ. She has worked as a General Practitioner in NZ since 2003, taking the PRIMEX exam in General Practice in 2004 and has completed her fellowship in 2007. Her special interests include Dermatology, Venereology and Women's Health.

Dr Kirsty Good

Kirsty trained at Auckland Medical School, graduating in 2003. She worked in Auckland and Sydney, and spent time in Emergency Medicine before starting the General Practice Training Programme in 2007. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine.

Dr Janine Bycroft

Janine trained at Otago Medical School and graduated in 1990. She completed the GP Training Programme in 1994 and then further studies in Public Health in 2004. She works part time at the practice and keeps busy with roles in a PHO and leading a charitable trust. She enjoys the variety her multiple roles provide and has special interest in quality improvement, long-term conditions, shared care, child health and e-health.

Dr Hsin-Yao Chang

Hsin-Yao originally trained as a pharmacist and then completed his medical training in 2014. He enjoys the variety seen in general practice and working with patients to improve their knowledge about their medicines.

Tara is one of our dedicated, experienced nurses. She has been busy working in New Zealand for over 7 years. She did her training in China as well, which means she can speak fluent Mandarin. Always true to her word, her professional motto is "at your service".

Juvel George

Juvel joined our practice in 2020, she graduated from Auckland University in 2013 and completed her Post graduate Diploma in Health science and advanced nursing. She has worked in Cardiothoracic wards within Waikato and Auckland Hospital, with almost 8 years experience. She enjoys practice nursing because you deal with various conditions and multiple age groups. Juvel speaks Hindi and Malayalam fluently "Namaste".

Meet the Office Team.

Florina Isaako

Florina is our practice manager. She is the friendly face at the front counter as well as the master mind that keeps the office running when nobody is looking. "I look forward to seeing you when you next come to visit".

Angie Marshall

Angie is our receptionist She will happily assist you and is here to lend a helping hand when needed. Angie will endeavour to make your visit a welcoming one. "Nau mai, haere mai"
